Steve Perry bravely took on this historic renovation and won Contractor of the Year 2012 for this project. In the course of the renovation when we hit a snag, he always found a solution. His positive "can-do" attitude really made the difference. It was a pleasure to work with him and his wife Amy and to now also call them friends.
This historic cottage from 1919 would not have been saved without the expertise of the the architects at Design Styles Architecture. Building on the beach has a lot of complicated rules and exceptions, to put it simply. Chis, the owner of CSI, installed interior and exterior surveillance and music in each room of the house as well as outdoor on our porch, patio and near jacuzzi. He also set up the networking of the entire house. We can see our house when we are away. Which makes us sad not to be there. We can also turn on certain lights and monitor the heating and air-conditioning remotely with computer or smartphone.
